Medical Therapeutic Yoga Specialty Workshops


Physical health is an ongoing pursuit during your lifetime. To support your health & wellness goals, Roper PT offers classes and specialty workshops so you can avoid ever needing physical therapy. We also offers individual instruction designed to support your physical therapy program, both during and after therapy is complete.

Currently, Roper PT is offering combination In-Person/Virtual class options, allowing 3 people in class with masks.

Medical Therapeutic Yoga

Registration begins 3rd week of every month.

  • Tuesdays, 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm
  • Wednesdays, Yoga Basics, 12:00 pm – 1:00, pm
  • Wednesdays, 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm
  • Thursdays, 9:30 am – 10:30 am

Restorative Yoga

Restorative yoga is a form of yoga that seeks to achieve physical, mental, and emotional relaxation with the aid of props. The use of props makes it easier for you to maintain balance while you are stimulating and relaxing your body. Classes held on the 3rd Friday of the month!

Meditation

Meditating calls you to focus your attention to your thoughts in efforts to be present, and eliminate the stream of thoughts about the past, future, and things you can’t control. Roper PT will be offering meditation classes in 2021.

Learn to Balance Your DOSHA: an Ayurvedic inspired yoga class

DOSHA comes from Ayurvedic medicine, yoga’s sister science, with historical roots in the Indian subcontinent. DOSHAS are the three energies that define every person’s makeup and in Ayurvedic medicine there are three main types of DOSHAS. The class includes a 30-minute introduction addressing the DOSHA, followed by a 30-minute yoga practice tailored to balancing the DOSHA.
