Cay Moore PT, ERYT 200, PYT-c joined Roper PT as a yoga instructor in 2012 and is now seeing patients in addition to teaching yoga in both class and private settings. Cay has been teaching yoga classes at Roper PT for many years and has recently started seeing more physical therapy clients. She graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a B.S. in Physical Therapy in 1993. For the first 10 years of her career, Cay worked mostly in inpatient and outpatient rehab as well as at a variety of settings across the US as a traveling physical therapist.
Since 2004, Cay has worked with private physical therapy clients. She began studying manual therapy through the Institute of Physical Art and started completing courses in myofascial release through John Barnes PT, LMT, NCTMB in 2014.
Cay became interested in yoga during the pregnancy of her first child and began studying fitness yoga through YogaFit in 2004. Following this, Cay studied classical and therapeutic yoga through the Holistic Yoga Therapy Institute in Charlotte and earned her RYT-200 through Yoga Alliance in 2013. She has taught numerous yoga classes per week in a variety of settings for over 15 years. Currently, Cay is studying under Ginger Garner PT, ATC, ERYT-500 through the Professional Yoga Therapy Institute.
Cay is married and has three teenagers and two dogs, which keep her very busy! She enjoys the outdoors, traveling, spending time with friends and family, concerts, and yoga.
